Wow, great story and well conceived plot. I don't know where you are going next, but it would be too funny if when the sun rises he finds himself in Jackie's body, wearing a Chun Li costume and Jackie discovers her ghost body is now Franklin's nerd form wearing a sheet.

It's nice to once again see your trademark creative swap mechanics in action! And just like Zapper, I can't help but suspect that Franklin's transformation will be a little more permanent than most of the transformations that night.
As for Jackie... if she gets desperate enough, and worried enough about the sun rising while she's still a spirit, I wonder if she'll try to take the body of someone who isn't prepared for an ambush like Franklin is.
Franklin probably imagines two scenarios: either he gets to keep Jackie's body while her soul buggers off in some way (perhaps she gets his old body?), or he gets ejected and everyone ends up back in their original bodies. But what if something way more fun happens instead? Ideas: 1) She gives up on retaking her own body, possesses Thor: after a hot night of steamy sex, they hook up permanently. Both so that she can keep tabs on her old body, but mostly for the sex. 2) She stays as a ghost after the night is over, decides to haunt her former body. Can probably posssess anyone else at will. 3) Franklin is ejected, but doesn't get his body back. Is now a ghost and probably spends a lot of time possessing people. 4) Jackie is sucked back in, but Franklin isn't ejected. They now have to share a body. 5) At sunrise, Jackie's ghostily existance becomes human again, but she doesn't get Franklin body, she gets another copy of her own body. Wacky hi-jinks ensue. Fun variants of 5: 5a) Reality shifts, everyone else thinks that there have always been two Jackie's. They don't have any choice but to learn to live with each other. 5b) Having become permanently glued to Jackie's original body and thus brain, Franklin gets all of her memories and personality. He manages to convince the real Jackie's that he is in fact her, and that the magic did some weird cloning thing, and they end up becoming very close friends (wink). 5c) Jackie is still linked to her original body, so they share thoughts and sensations. Shared body and multi-body at the same time! Being able to feel each other, they quickly empathise with each other, understanding each other's traumas etc. They become *very* close, and decide to make the absolute best of life. Of course, they take full advantage of their new spiritual ability, being able to learn and experience twice as much as anyone else (good for success in life and for fun in bed). 5d) Or maybe they don't learn to understand each other and go mad at having to live with the other's thoughts. Wacky hi-jinks ensue as they scour the globe for magic to fix it. Though that fix probably ends up being even more fun stuff ;)
Hmmm, maybe 5d results in them trying to fight for control of *both* bodies. Like Franklin would really rather have two bodies all to himself, and likewise would Jackie.
You've gone with the shotgun approach for different endings haha. I love all the thought you put into it! :P
I've actually considered making a 'shared multibody' story in the past so you may see something like your idea in the future (not for this story though <3)
Love the premise, set-up, and description of the progression of Franklin's plan!!! I'm thinking that the following irony follows: Franklin stays in Jackie's body and, since you have made it clear that Jackie's hormones are acting on Franklin's mind, Franklin can't help but take a shine to her boyfriend who had beaten him up when he was still in his own body. Franklin is not only not intimidated by Jackie's boyfriend anymore; he actually takes great delight in wrapping him around what is now Franklin's little finger (formerly Jackie's). Franklin also gets a kick out of how much he can manipulate his former bully with sex and giggles at the thought that he is able to entice a guy who had beaten him up for asking his girlfriend out. I think Jackie should be able to re-enter her body but only to experience it passively. Franklin is always in charge now.

Jackie may be a bit too vain to even consider possessing a body not her own, would probably be a good idea to try though!
