I wonder if the third perspective is due to Mike controlling the two bodies or if it could happen with a third party... Is he on the way to become a hive mind?
A satisfying ending to a satisfying series! If Mike is right about what he's feeling, then his soul must be behaving very strangely, and... well, I had the same thought Greg did. But how many bodies can one soul handle?
"The Mike hivemind will probably only extend to his/her immediate family. After all, new souls are created from the union of two souls."
That's a good point, and a clever way to explain why the child of Mike's two bodies shares his soul. I can only assume that the union of two souls through gamete fusion isn't the *only* way to create a new soul, though - unless cloned animals like Dolly the sheep don't have souls of their own.
I'm having a lot of fun talking about captions and stories with you, but I also think it would be nice to get to know each other more directly. (That doesn't mean RP, sexting, or exchanging real-life identifying information, to be clear.) Would you ever like to chat in a space more private than a Blogspot comment section? We could DM on Discord, for instance.

ReplyDeleteI'll let the audience decide that... :)

DeleteThe Mike dynasty has become, hopefully it doesn't become too insesty... as dynasties sometimes do.

ReplyDeleteYeah, he really lucked out!
DeleteGotta envy the guy. Has the ability to make his own hivemind family.
