Merging Mishap - Part Seven

I love this concept, but it is very difficult to write for. It requires far more explanation about what is happening than a normal story.

  1. Are we still too far to move on to another series?

    1. I'm probably going to release a one-off during this week and finish off the 2-3 captions in this series next weekend. After that I don't have any plans for additional series yet, but I do have a large number of shorter ideas in my catalogue which will all be 1-2 captions long.

  2. When I read the end of part 6, I have to admit I was expecting Mike to switch fully over to Sandra's body, and realize that he had the ability to switch back and forth via physical contact. So he's twinned now, but he didn't start out that way when his fused body split? Odd, but okay.

I do hope Olivia and Sandra end up back in separate bodies by the end of this. Even if Mike discovers he really enjoys hogging two bodies to himself, it would be cruel to leave the girls stuck with only half a life each - especially Olivia, since she's his girlfriend. Maybe if Sandra keeps being a jerk and Olivia is sufficiently bisexual, Mike could put Olivia back in her own body and keep Sandra's body for himself. Unless, of course, we're going the route of non-fetishy bodyswap stories and everyone actually goes back to normal at the end.

    1. He's been twinned since he unmerged, it's just that Sandra's body woke up before Olivia's did. When one body sleeps the twinned/multi-bodied person feels like they are in a single body.

After I wrote this, I did think about having him swap between the two bodies freely. I may have to write a story where a vacant body is passed around that swaps with anyone who touches it, could have some interesting twists.

Mike is more comfortable in a female body right now, but he still wants to return to his male body. He will do his best to swap everyone back to normal.

Sidenote: I'd love to see some story concepts that you, EquinoxShade, would like to see. I feel like you have some good ideas rattling around in that brain of yours! :)

Ah, I see. I wonder if a twinned person could stay awake indefinitely by getting each of their bodies into different circadian rhythms, such that at least one body was awake at any given time. I suppose they'd be like a dolphin, only sleeping with "half their brain" at once.

I take you mean requests for this blog? If I have any ideas that I don't want to someday write a story about myself, I'll be sure to send them your way!

    1. They should be able to stay awake indefinitely. I wouldn't be surprised if they would want to at least share an hour or two where both bodies are sleeping. That way they get the feeling of separation between each day. Their days would run together in a likely uncomfortable way if they tried to maintain a schedule like that.

I didn't realize you wrote stories! I'd love to see them, do you have a blog or something where I can find them? I'd love to add it to the sidebar.

So far, I've only ever published one, "One Shape Fits All", which you've already seen. I've got a couple of others in the works, though. Come to think of it, it'd be a good idea for me to make a blog that at least links to everything I publish - and if/when I make one, I'll let you know.

    3. Update: I've made a blog (https://equinoxshadetf.blogspot.com/). Whenever I publish something new, I'll post or link it there.

    4. That's right! It totally slipped my mind. I added the blog to the sidebar list. Look forward to any new posts you have (whenever they may happen)! :)
