Nice continuation, what I like about this caption episode is the incorporation of texting template to tell a story. The back-and-forth chit-chat really tells about each other's different personality, but more importantly what I like is that it shows Martin's slow realization of the con he got himself trap in.
What the "original" Lisa had completely failed to take into account was my completely different individuality, which differed substantially from hers. This made it possible for me, after returning to South Korea, to graduate Cum Laude in a completely different field of study, so that my ("new") parents were still proud of and delighted with me. In this other, very social, field of study, I soon found a job that was satisfying from a social and work point of view (and also more than sufficient from a financial point of view). A short time later I met my then future husband from Europe, and when we decided to get married, we did so in his native country, in Germany, where we also settled for good. So something good did come out of a forced, involuntary and irreversible turn of life... . -Tom-

ReplyDeleteYeah, I like the texting format because it forces me to show and not tell.
